History
Departs Texel on 30 April 1654 for her maiden voyage to the East Indies. The Zwarte Bul remained in the East and sailed between China, Taiwan and Japan, among others.
The Zwarte Bul left Batavia on 28-6-1659 and was destined for Japan, but never arrived there. As early as December 1659, it was assumed in Batavia that the ship had wrecked, because at that time a message arrived from Japan that the ship had not arrived there, and no reports had been received that it had arrived in Taiwan or the Pescadores. The accident can therefore be put in 1659.
