History
On June 21st, 1916, Otis Tarda, on a voyage from Rotterdam to Goole with general cargo, was sunk by a mine from the German submarine UC-6 (Otto Ehrentraut), 11 miles southwest of Newarp lightvessel. There were no casualties.
