History
VOC flute, built in 1647 for the Company's Zeeland chamber. The ship is named after the country house Noordmunster, located between the towns of Middelburg and Veere. In April 1647, Noordmunster departed for her first voyage to Batavia. On 4 January 1648, she returned at Wielingen roads. In November 1648, she left for her second journey to East Asia, but sank in the Sluise Gat (nowadays called the Zwin).
