History
The Juno was wrecked on a voyage from Banyuwangi to Dordrecht while carrying a cargo of coffee, sugar, tin and rattans. She was sailing in dense fog directly below the point of Cape Agulhas when she wrecked. Sadly, five passengers drowned during the incident.

Status
Some artefacts from the Juno are on display at the Shipwreck Museum in Bredasdorp. It has been reported that there are also artefacts from this wreck in a private collection, however, this work was not done under permit.
