History
The Huis ter Meijen made two attempts to sail out in 1771:
- 18-11-1771 (back at Texel the next day);
- 07-12-1771 (return: 19-12).
31-12-1771 was the final date of departure. According to data recorded at the Cape, the Huis ter Meijen departed from Texel with a crew consisting of 248 persons.
