History
The Epsilon was on her way from Buenos Aires to Amsterdam. Leaving Falmouth harbour, the ship ran into a mine laid by the German submarine UC 11. The crew managed to save themselves in the boat. They were picked up by the Dutch the ss. Gamma. The Epsilon left Falmouth together withe the Dutch ships ss. Mizar and ss. Gamma.
