History
The Batavier has perished near an otherwise unknown island 'Hen with the Three Chicks', which must be somewhere southeast of Sulawesi.
The survivors, after many hardships,reached Rotterdam castle (Ujung Padang ) in Makassar with three money chests. The load of cloves has been lost.
Skipper Lindholm and his officers have been questioned for breach of contract.
