Alblasserdam was built and used by the VOC chamber of Amsterdam in a yard in Delft in 1725. She made two successful voyages to the Dutch East Indies and back to the Netherlands, and on her third voyage, on her way from Batavia to China, she sank near the Chinese coast in 1735.
