History

SS Timor was on her way from London to Rotterdam on 16 July 1917, she was loaded with tar. About 18 miles south of the light ship Noordhinder, she was sunk by the German submarine UC-64. The crew survived the attack and was brought to Ijmuiden by the fishing vessel KW 102.

Description

Identity is uncertain, this could also be SS Hans Kinck. Vessel was torpedoed.

Status

The wreck of SS Timor is at a maximum depth of 40 meters. It is upright, but largely collapsed.
