History
'The Panter' was a 16-gun cutter. In 1795, she served in the navy of the Batavian Republic under Captain Lieutenant Kraft.
On January 9th, she departed from Texel in a squadron bound for the North Sea.
The Panter subsequently went missing during a voyage to Norway. She likely sank with all her crew.
One of the drowned crew members was Hendrik (Johan Heinrich?) Wolvekamp.
